to Replace Blade

when handling and replacing. |
Test
Cutter so Blade is
not too tight or too loose.

Open
cutter handles. Remove blade pivot nut and washer.

Turn
cutter over and remove blade pivot bolt and spring.

Remove
"C" clip and blade pin. Slide blade out from
ratchet bars.

Replace blade by sliding into position in handle and
in between ratchet bars. Replace blade pin through ratchet
bars and blade slot. Snap on "C" clip. Screw
in blade bolt and spring. Turn cutter over and replace
blade bolt nut and washer (do not overtighten).

Blade
is hardened to maintain a long-lasting sharp edge and
is easily field replaceable. |

1.
Unscrew blade bolt and unlock "C" clip. Remove
old blade. Refer to Figs. 1, 2, 3.
|

2. Place new blade in position, replace "C"
clip and tighten blade bolt. (Do not overtighten)
|
|
3.
Test cutter so blade is not too tight or too loose.
