Advantages
of these 2% Tungsten Electrodes compared to EWP or Pure
Tungsten are the addition of 2 wt-% of cerium oxide
in place of thorium. They are non-radioactive, easier
to start than pure tungsten and have improved ARC stability
and reduced rate of burn-off or vaporization. Electrodes
can be used on AC or DC in either polarity.
Principally used on: Carbon steel, Stainless
Steel, Nickel, Nickel Alloys, Titanium, Copper Alloys
